Home Decor

Bruce and I have lived in this home for almost two years. Two months ago we put our first picture on the wall. I know, silly huh? We should have decorated along time ago, the problem is that I'm not very good at decorating. This is why I'm so excited about what I have worked on the last few days. I found theses frames at Target. Then I printed photos from my computer, using black ink only, onto photo paper. I cut out vinyl letters using Robins cricut, that say Families can be together forever. Hurray for me!!
I am so motivated right now that Bruce better watch out. I have already looked at paint chips, and started a new project.

Braids

This was Princess's hair do for church last Sunday.
She is such a cutie.
I sectioned the hair into six sections, then french braided each section.

I continued braiding to the ends of the hair and put ponytails in each one. So what I had was six braids. I took the three braids on each side and braided them together. Then I pulled the two braid together and put in a clear ponytail. After the ponytail was secure I removed the other six. Then I curled the rest of the hair with my hair straightener.

You can then add a bow or pretty clips.

Chenille Blanket

I sewed this blanket for a neighbor having a baby boy. It is hard to see in the pictures but this in a really cute blanket. 5 layers of flannel sewn on the diagnal every 3/8" then cut the top three layers between the seams. After the blankets is washed you have a great quilted side and the other side is soft and textured. If you would like full instruction please let me know.

Little Man

LM is a cutie.
He loves to have his picture taken.
Here are a few pictures of his hair since I was taking some of the girls.

Little Man you make me laugh.

Monkey and Princess hair do's

This is Monkey with 5 flippies
(I'm not sure what the technical term is).
Two on each side and one in the back.
Monkey and Princess hate the flippies, but they stay in really tight so I do feel differently.

Princess has really fine hair, which can be diffecult.
I did two flippies one on each side. Then I put in two ponies. I did a twist with the hair and then pulled the every end through only halfway. Not the best picture of Princess, and not the best twisties, they didn't last very last. Next time I'll have to take the picture right after I do her hair rather then wait till ater she has been wrestle with Little Man and running around.

ME, ME, ME

Hi. This is my first post on my own blog, fun huh? I think so.
Things about me:
1. I love to do crafts
2. I love to sew. I don't have a machine right now but I'm working on it.
3. Hair, I'm not good at doing my own but I really enjoy doing my girls. I even do the neighbors hair when they come over to play.
4. I'm not a cook. I know how, I just can't get the planning together to make it work.
5. I'm LDS and love my calling as a primary teacher for the CTR 6. I even get to teach Princess.
6. I have a great husband. He even does laundry and dishes, what more can I ask.
7. I have been to the West Coast one time. Montery CA. I went a couple of months ago with Bruce and I fell in-love. I really want to go back. The food was great and the ocean was beautiful.
8. I grew up in NC. No accent, though. It does come back when I hear it though.
9. GO AGGIES!!! I love USU. Bruce and I met there.
10. I love DVR. Greatest invention ever, beside all of the important thing that we really can't live without. I no longer have to rush getting kids to bed so that I can watch my 8 pm show. Also TV on the internet how great is that. I watch it while I do everything. Probably not the best thing for me but I do it anyway.

I'm sure that I'll think of other things to tell you about myself but for now thats ME.
